Cancellation & Shipping Policy

1Overview

We understand that plans change. This policy explains when and how you can cancel an order placed with Baidya Nath Weighing Machine Co. (TYCOON), how refunds are processed, and how we ship your order once it is confirmed.

2Cancellation by Customer

Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — however, you remain covered under our 7-Day Replacement Policy if the product arrives damaged, defective or incorrect.

3Cancellation by TYCOON

In rare cases, we may need to cancel an order ourselves, for reasons such as:

• The product being out of stock or discontinued
• Incorrect pricing or product information displayed on the website due to a technical error
• Inability to verify or confirm the shipping address provided
• Suspected fraudulent or invalid transaction

If we cancel your order, you will be notified via phone, WhatsApp or email, and any amount already paid will be refunded in full.

4Cancellation for COD Orders

For Cash on Delivery orders where an advance payment was collected online through Razorpay, the following applies on cancellation:

• If cancelled before dispatch, the advance amount paid is refunded in full to the original payment method
• If the order is refused at the time of delivery after dispatch, the advance payment may be forfeited to cover shipping and handling costs already incurred

5Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are initiated within 3–5 business days of cancellation approval. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5–7 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account. All refunds are processed securely through Razorpay, back to the original payment method used.

We currently ship across all serviceable pin codes in India through our courier and logistics partners. Orders are typically:

7Shipping Charges

We offer free shipping across India on all orders placed through tycoonweighingscales.com — the price shown at checkout is inclusive of shipping and 18% GST, with no hidden delivery charges.

8Order Tracking

1. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation with your shipment details via SMS, WhatsApp or email
2. You can track your shipment status directly with the courier partner using the tracking details shared
3. For any tracking assistance, you can also contact our support team directly with your Order ID

9Delays & Undelivered Shipments

If your order is delayed significantly beyond the estimated delivery window, or is marked as "undelivered" / returned to origin (RTO) by the courier due to an incorrect address or unavailability at the delivery location, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to arrange re-delivery or, where applicable, process an appropriate refund.
